... of the valley and mountains, with south facing balcony. The kitchen/diner/lounge was a decent size and the dishwasher was much appreciated. Full sized cooker but space for preparing a cooked meal was limited but as we ate out, only needing to prepare breakfast and snacks, this was not a problem. A microwave could have been handy. Both bedrooms were a good size and the bathrooms were nicely equipped, shower in 1 and bath with shower over in the other, each with own toilet. Located in the centre of the village with easy access to shops, restaurants and buses (need the bus to get to the lift stations). Tourist passes (free with holiday tax) gave unlimited use of the buses and lifts. Frau Gschosser was extremely friendly and helpful with excellent English. We will happily return.

... greatly appreciated. The hospitality of Frau Gschosser was unbelieveable, to the point that the children wanted to buy her choclolates to thank her for a fantastic holiday. The apartments location cannot be beaten, right in the village centre with the Spar being only a minutes walk and the ski bus stop 3 minutes (walking slowly). The restaurants in Alpbach are again all on the doorstep and are of a very high standard and incredibly low priced for Austria. We very much look forward to our return next year.
